Ferraton Cotes-du-Rhone Blanc 2008 White Grenache (60%) and Clairette (40%) are the component grapes for this stunning wine that has alluring aromas of white flowers and white peach. On the palate the Clairette brings it a wet stone freshness while the Grenache gives it body, a lovely softness and vitality. Overall, it has finesse and balance and a little X factor not present in many wines. RRP $26/btl. Our low bargain price only $19.90

Ferraton Cotes-du-Rhone Rouge 2006 If you like old world Cotes-du-Rhone there's an excellent chance this will suit your palate - this is medium on the palate (pinot noir weight) for a C-d-R but there is lots going on with delicious berry fruit characters that carry the mid-palate into a firmly structured finish with meaty tannins and good length. As well, there's a bit of funk and earthy, slightly mushroomy stuff going on - and the bonus is the wine's organic and will suit anyone who thinks they're allergic to red wine. Alpha Zeta Soave 2008 - Italy The most defining feature of this wine is a wonderful glycerol-like mouthfeel that exudes quality. The colour is light and bright lemon and lime with fresh citrus aromas and floral notes. The palate is mouthwateringly full with fresh with zesty apple, lemon and lime fruit and a nice gentle roundness. Lively and refreshing with good length. In summary, a stunning wine for well under $20. RRP is $23.00/btl. Our special price is only $17.50/btl.

Framingham Classic Riesling 2008 It isn't by chance that the Framingham Classic Riesling 2008 won the Decanter World Wine Awards Trophy last year, and it isn't by chance that winemaker Andrew Hedley produces 5 of NZs best rieslings, under the Framingham label. Made from 30-year-old vines in a Spatlese style with 18gms R/S this wine is in perfect harmony with its tight acidity and chacacters of citrus, honey, mandarin and stone fruit. The finish is long. Raats Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc 2008 - South Africa Classy is the first thought when the bouquet shows and the wine goes into your mouth. Chenin Blanc is the most prolific grape variety grown in the RSA and this is one of the best. Every year it has consistently scored 90+ in Wine Spectator Magazine - it shows lovely structure with notes of citrus and fennel and is undeniably high class.
