Save 40% on RRP - Only $12.90/btl, $11.90 on case
Bishops Head Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Sav Blancs with barrel ferments and lees ageing are gaining in popularity and in my view are much more interesting and complex than the traditional tank fermented, early release style. This 2007 one such wine, aged for 8 months on lees, dry and drinking quite beautifully. It is rounded with a creamy finish. Even more attractive is the price; we have done an excellent deal here and you won't find a better savvy at such a low price. Tasting bottle open in shop this week.

Fantastic drinking at only $15.75. Normal retail is $20
Chapoutier Le Ciboise 2005
Blended from traditional varieties of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Mouvedre, this wine from the Coteaux du Tricastin shows lots of character from a dominace of blackcurrent notes integrated with spice, herbs and earth. It's medium weight in the style of pinot noir and delivers structure, is well balanced and finishes long and dry. Really good with most meat dishes this easy drinker represents great value.

Save over 30%. Was $18.90, now $12.90 or $11.90 on cases
Casa de Maule Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
We have an excellent line-up of everyday drinking reds and this is another that offers brilliant value. It more than a 30% saving on the old price and is available in both the Cab Sav and Merlot and both are great buying at these prices. Another top buy currently in stock is the Coto de Hayas Tinto 2007 which goes out to you at only $11.25/btl after you claim your 10% discount. Petrol might be on the fast rise but we have wines spiralling downwards - the moral is, fill up with wine, not petrol. Come in and taste them.

25% Save on Central Pinot Noir. RRP $32. Our price only $24.50/btl
The Crater Rim Central Otago Pinot Noir 2007
A lot of Central Pinot Noir doesn't offer value-for-money but here's one that does. Typically lifted bouquet of sun-ripe berry-fruit that jumps from the glass. On the palate it offers soft and generous fruit characters with typical pinot noir varietal notes of cherries, mushrooms and thyme. Good weight but softer tannins which suggests this is excellent drinking early - like now! Lots of wine for the cost and we highly recommend it. Case price only $286. Tasting this wine all week in shop.

One of Felton Road's best vintages
Felton Road Pinot Noir 2007
Felton Road has done plenty on its own to enhance the reputation of Central Otago Pinot and there are lots of producers there that aspire to produce wine of Felton Road quality, especially this 2007 vintage which Dean and I rate as "the complete pinot." The wine is very perfumed with cherries, spice and bramble on the palate, and it fills the palate and exudes finesse and elegance through to a complex, long, silky finish - really good length - it goes on and on. Brilliant! We also have the FR Block 3 and Cornish Point. Your price for this one only $51.90
