Who won our Waipara Vs Central Otago Pinot Noir Tasting Challenge?
Do you care or even want to know? It was a very closely contested event that was judged by 43 tasters at Eliza's Manor House last Thursday evening at 6pm. Such was the interest in this tasting that we had another 20 tasters on the waiting list to attend. All 14 wines (7 flights on them) were presented blind to an enthusiastic bunch of pinot noir buffs that included two well known wine judges who delivered their assessments after voting has closed on each flight.
